A trip to a land far below the world's surface, past the River of Styx, and into the realm of demons.

The story of my scariest adventure yet...

It was a dreary day, early morning. I walked out from the mage guild where I stay at night, and yawned while I gathered my equipment up. I noticed I was still missing a few of my large canvas backpacks from the last time I had died in Asmar. I grumbled, and set off to the armour shop, only to find not a single pack. I checked every shop I could find, and yet I could not get one. NaG, the one who now had my bag, was no where to be found as well.
So, I set off to the Mystic Forest to fetch me one. I had never done this before, so I did not know what I was looking for. I walked around until I came to the bank of the river. I waded out into the river and walked on against the current, and soon came up to an energetic Water Pixie. I tipped my head and set off deaper into the stream. I later found some shore, and crawled up onto the beach. I was wet, and tired. I laid there and dried off.
I set off again, and found a big hole in the ground, and climbed down into it. I slowly descended down the hole, and found the Grim Reaper. I shuddered in fear as I stared at the River of Styx, and all the spirits screaming in pain and agony. There was a raft, yet the Reaper told me I should ask a pixie for a token. I climbed back out of the hole, and went and found that pixie. I asked for a token, and was willingly given one.
I was incredibly intriuged by now, and quickly rushed back down into the hole, and gave the token to the Reaper. He lead me across the River, and ditched me at the other side.
I ventured down from there, into the unknown, the Underworld. I couldn't see much, and came across spirits of demons and devils, and all sorts of things. I was afraid, and lost. But yet as many Kobolds are, I was curious. I ran down as fast as I could, and finally found a civilized area. A small room, and I rested for a short while. I finally walked into a room nearby, and found Strife, the demon prince and the fairy princess. I felt sorry for the princess being trapped, and I killed Strife with little diffuculty. I set off with the princess following me close behind. I then noticed the poison...
I stiffened, feeling the poison spread through my body. I rushed as fast as I could out of that place, but wasn't fast enough. My limbs all were around 600% damaged and any simple tap would've removed them all. I was then caught by a demon who hand cuffed me to the wall and whipped me. I shouted in pain and agony, and after hours of agonizing got a small, sturdy dwarf to come help. I as well got a cleric to come, and I waited, with no stamina, and no mana, and very little life left.
After another few hours passed, Gathil and the cleric arrived, Gathil brought plenty of Rings of Cleansing, and the cleric pulled me out of no stamina. I was slowly ready to return to the normal world. I thanked them both, for I had come incredibly close to losing my life. I tossed one of my magic stones and entered the portal, the princess close behind.
I never will forget that day, the princess thanked me for her rescue when I took her back to her mother, the Queen, and I was rewarded. I ventured back there once, a lot more catious that time, and I survived it alone.
The Underworld is no place for the living. For if they are there, they will soon be the spirits in the River of Styx if they are not careful.
